Meet our 2017 New Mexi-Gras royalty: King Joe Gabel and Queen Bev Rogoff!
Joe Gabel Bev Rogoff
Our 2017 New Mexi-Gras King and Queen are two long-time supporters of the New Mexico Jazz Workshop. King Joe Gabel served as a New Mexico Jazz Workshop Board member from 2005 to 2014 (including a two-year tenure as president) and has been a summer table sponsor for many years with his store, Serafian's Oriental Rugs. Joe has worked tirelessly to further the New Mexico Jazz Workshop and we thank him for his incredible hard work through out the years! Queen Bev Rogoff has also been a huge friend to the New Mexico Jazz Workshop throughout the years. She has been a longtime table sponsor, NMJW member, and an Adult Education student. She is a retired teacher and started a second career in her seventies as a vocalist and comedienne. We love Bev!! Many thanks to Joe and Bev and all hail the King and Queen of New Mexi-Gras!
