Roots of Jazz

Roots of Jazz is a free one-hour assembly at APS Elementary Schools designed to teach students about the history and Roots of Jazz music. Frank Leto and a Jazz quartet lead the students through the origins of Jazz from Africa to the Caribbean, South America and the USA.

This program is funded by the Urban Enhancement Trust Fund.
